Veien fra hægelandsheimen mot byggefelt smiheia er utrolig smal og dårlig! Veien mangler grøft mot fjell, asfaltkanten er oppsmuldret/borte og veien er flere plasser kun 4,3m bred. Å passere andre biler uten å kjøre utenfor asfaltkanten er umulig.
