Asfaltdekke i gata "Uståsen" har med tiden blitt svært dårlig. Veldig mange hull og skader i asfalten. Dette delvis pga mye tungtrafikk i forbindelse med rehabilitering av nærliggende borettslag. Bilene kjører sikk-sakk rundt hullene. Mange fotgjengere langs gata også.
