Det er store hull midt i veibanen på denne strekningen, grunnet gammel asfalt.

Riksvei 680 fra Kyrksæterøra til E-39 Stormyr er så full av telehiver, at det nesten ikke er å anse som kjørbart til tider. Man hopper og spretter som bare det.

saken ble løst dagen etterpå, men det virker bare kortvarig.
Det må legges ny asfalt så snart det lar seg gjøre
