Ferista ligger nærme bolighus, (dette blei påpeikt da ferista blei tegna inn på ny veg fram i Dalen i Høyanger, men ikkje vektlagt den gang) Vegen er benytta av svært mange. F. eks.: Anleggsarbeid, Statnett, Statkraft, storviltbane, pistolklubb, leirduebane, grunneigere, hyttefolk, fiskere, trimmere i trappa, nattestid mye trafikk av rånere, mm. Lyden er så høg og ofte at det går ut over søvn for hele husstanden, dette har pågått i åresvis. Har foreslått for kommunen å lage en fartsdump.
