Gangunderlaget på Svinto er skadelig for føttene til hunder; de små kan sette fast labbene i hullene. De større hundene får kutt under labbene. Ønskelig med stripe med kjøreunderlag eller belegg av noe slag, som gjør at hunder ikke skades når broen krysses
