Veistrekningen i Wergelands vei mellom Enggaten og Gyldenløves gate er et så hullete og humpete at det er ubehagelig å kjøre der, men likevel enda verre å sykle der. Sykler der nærmest daglig med barn på sykkelsete og i henger, og er like redd hver gang for ulykker. Mye trafikk både med bil og sykkel i området, sannsynligvis langt mer enn påregnet.
